Pure love can not exist with sin. It came down from Heaven. It revealed itself in amazing ways. It demonstrated its awesome power. It was humiliated and destroyed by pride and jealousy, selfishness and greed, hypocrisy and hate. But even death decreed by sin could not restrain pure love.
